1.1 Account Information
KBC: Millionaire Quiz does not require user registration or account creation. We do not require or collect your name, email address, physical address, or phone number to play the game.
1.2 Gameplay & Progress Data
All gameplay progress is stored locally on your device using secure local storage (SharedPreferences on Android, NSUserDefaults / App Sandbox on iOS). This includes:
- Campaign level progress, unlocked milestones, and star ratings
- Virtual prize ladder achievements (e.g., 7 Crore milestone cheques)
- Lifeline counts and available recharges
- In-game preferences and language selection (Hindi / English)
You have full control over your stored progress and can erase it at any time using the in-game "Reset All Progress" option in Settings or by clearing app storage.
1.3 Device & Usage Information
We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app stability, diagnose technical errors, and optimize gameplay performance. This may include:
- Device model, operating system version, and app version
- Approximate (non-precise) location derived from IP address
- App usage events (e.g., levels completed, lifelines used, session length)
- Crash logs and diagnostic/performance telemetry
1.4 Advertising Data
KBC: Millionaire Quiz displays ads through Google AdMob to support the free availability of the game. AdMob and its partners may collect and use identifiers such as your device's advertising ID (GAID on Android, IDFA on iOS), IP address, and general (non-precise) location to:
- Serve contextual, interstitial, banner, and rewarded sponsor video ads
- Measure ad performance and viewability
- Prevent fraud, bot abuse, and duplicate impressions
On iOS, any tracking that requires cross-app identification is subject to Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. On Android, you can manage or reset ad personalization through your device's Google Ads Settings.

- Maintain your campaign ladder progression and offline gameplay state locally
- Display banner, interstitial, and rewarded sponsor video ads that keep the game free to play
- Monitor app stability, detect crashes, and resolve bugs through Firebase Crashlytics
- Understand aggregate gameplay engagement to continuously balance trivia difficulty
- Prompt for optional app ratings and inform you when new updates are available on official app stores

5. Data Retention
Game progression details are saved locally on your device and are retained until you uninstall the app or tap "Reset All Progress" in the Settings menu. Diagnostic crash logs collected by Firebase are retained in accordance with Google's data retention cycles.
6. Children's Privacy
KBC: Millionaire Quiz is designed for a general audience and family-friendly trivia entertainment. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided personal information to third-party services through the app, please contact us and we will take immediate corrective steps.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Erase or reset your local game progress at any time via the in-game Settings screen
- Withdraw consent or manage ad personalization via your device settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy > Tracking; Android: Google Settings > Ads)
