Privacy Policy for FireDraw
Zero-Telemetry Architectural Guarantees
localStorage and never touch our servers.Welcome to FireDraw ("the Service", "we", "our", or "us"), an interactive Firestore database modeling and schema visualization platform engineered and published by IYGroup.
We understand the sensitivity of database architectures and software schemas. FireDraw was designed from the ground up with a strict privacy-by-default engineering philosophy. This Privacy Policy details how data is handled when you use FireDraw in any modern web browser.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
Unlike traditional SaaS database tools that require backend server database access, FireDraw operates purely on client-side code:
- No Database Credentials: We never request, process, or store Google Cloud Service Account keys, Firebase Admin credentials, or Firestore connection strings.
- No Schema Telemetry: Your collection names, document structures, field types, linked references, and security rule mockups are processed exclusively inside your browser DOM and are never uploaded to external servers.
- No Personal Account Registration: You do not need to create an account, log in, or provide personal contact information to model and export database diagrams.
2. Local In-Browser Storage & Exports
- Browser LocalStorage: When you work on a diagram, your canvas state is cached locally in your browser's sandboxed
localStorage. This data remains on your physical computer and is never accessible to other websites or our backend. - Client-Side File Generation: When you export diagrams (PNG, SVG, JSON schema), the export file is generated directly on your device CPU using browser canvas APIs. No files are uploaded or stored on remote servers during exports.
- Clearing Data: You can completely erase your locally saved schemas at any time by clearing your browser cache and local storage or using the "Clear Canvas" feature.
3. Web Hosting & Technical CDN Logs
When you load FireDraw in your browser, standard web infrastructure providers (such as Cloudflare and static edge nodes) may temporarily log non-identifiable web requests (such as your browser user-agent, IP address, and asset fetch timestamps) solely for DDoS mitigation, caching, and network routing security.
| Service | Category | Purpose | Policy Link |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare & Static Edge CDN | Web Infrastructure & CDN | Delivering static HTML, WebAssembly, and JavaScript assets securely to web browsers with standard edge DDoS protection and SSL/TLS encryption. | View Policy |
4. Security & Database Isolation
FireDraw operates in complete isolation from your actual live database instances. Because our application does not establish live TCP/WebSocket database socket connections to your cloud provider, there is zero risk of database corruption, data leaks, or unauthorized schema mutations.
5. Children's Online Privacy (COPPA)
FireDraw is a professional developer utility tool and is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
6. Your Rights & Data Control
Because all diagram data is stored in your own browser, you maintain 100% unilateral ownership and sovereignty over your work. You can export, modify, or permanently purge your schema models at any moment without requesting permission or filing deletion tickets.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new features or architectural improvements. Any updates will be posted directly on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
