Terms of Use for WordScout: Word Search Hunt

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and IYGroup ("we", "us", "our") for your use of the WordScout: Word Search Hunt mobile game ("the App").

By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian, including before making any purchase.

2. Licence to Use the App

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App on your own devices for personal, non-commercial entertainment. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by us.

3. Your Account

The App creates a guest account for you automatically. You can optionally link Google Sign-In, Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games to keep your progress across devices. You are responsible for everything done through your account. Guest progress that is not linked may be lost if you uninstall the App, clear app data or change devices.

Your display name and avatar are public and appear on leaderboards and profiles, together with your leaderboard stats.

4. Player Conduct

You agree NOT to:

1. Choose a display name that is offensive, hateful, sexual, impersonates someone else or contains personal information.
2. Cheat, use bots, exploits, hacks, modified clients or automation, or exploit bugs.
3. Manipulate leaderboards, times, rewards or purchases.
4. Reverse engineer, decompile, copy, modify or distribute the App, except where the law allows it.
5. Interfere with our servers or try to access data that is not yours.
6. Use the App for any unlawful purpose.

We may rename players, remove leaderboard entries, reset progress or Virtual Items, or suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms, with or without notice.

5. Subscriptions

The App offers the following optional auto-renewable monthly subscriptions. You can have one plan active at a time. Prices below are reference prices in US dollars; the actual price is shown in your local currency in the store before you buy.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Manage or cancel: on iOS, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions; on Android, open the Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep your benefits until the end of the current paid period. Deleting the App or your account does not cancel a subscription.
• If a free trial or introductory offer is offered, its length and terms will be shown before you buy. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
• Use Restore Purchases in the shop to restore an active subscription on a new device or after reinstalling.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com or through Google Play. We cannot issue refunds directly.
• We may change subscription prices or benefits in the future. The store will notify you of price increases as required, and you can cancel before the change applies.

6. Virtual Items — No Real-World Value

• The App uses virtual coins, gems, hints, boosters, streak freezes, avatars, themes and other virtual items ("Virtual Items").
• Virtual Items have no real-world value and cannot be exchanged, sold, transferred, cashed out or redeemed for money or anything of value.
• You have a licence to use Virtual Items within the App only; you do not own them. We may change, rebalance or remove Virtual Items at any time, and they may be lost if your account is terminated or guest progress is not saved.

7. Advertising and Third-Party Services

The App shows third-party ads from Google AdMob, including optional rewarded ads. Rewards from rewarded ads are given only when the ad is completed and an ad is available. We are not responsible for the content of ads or for third-party websites or products they link to. Third-party services used by the App (such as Google, Apple and RevenueCat) are governed by their own terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, graphics, owl mascot, puzzles, word lists, sounds, text and the "WordScout" name and logo, is owned by IYGroup or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws.

9. Updates and Availability

We may update, change or stop the App, or any feature, at any time. Some updates may be required to keep playing. We do not guarantee the App will always be available, error-free or compatible with your device.

10. Disclaimer

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IYGroup will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, progress or Virtual Items, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for subscriptions in the 12 months before the claim, or INR 1,000 (or the equivalent in your local currency) if that is greater. Some countries do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

12. Indemnity

You agree to compensate us for any claims, losses or costs caused by your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the App.

13. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and, if you wish, asking us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). Remember to cancel any active subscription in your store settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms. Sections 6, 8 and 10–16 survive termination.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India, except where the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

15. Apple App Store Users

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store: these Terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App; Apple is not responsible for any product warranty, claims or third-party intellectual-property claims relating to the App; you must comply with applicable third-party terms; and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Where these Terms are silent, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If you keep using the App after changes take effect, you accept the new Terms.
